Tovala Appoints Chief Marketing Officer Scott Braun to Accelerate Customer and Brand Growth

Tovala announced the appointment of Scott Braun as Chief Marketing Officer as the company approaches 50 million meals delivered nationwide and continues expanding its smart oven and meal platform across the United States.

Braun joins Tovala from SimpliSafe, where he served as Chief Growth Officer, and previously held the role of Chief Marketing Officer at Drizly. He brings more than 25 years of experience in growth strategy, brand development, customer acquisition, and subscription-based businesses.

In his new position, Braun will oversee Tovala’s brand, growth, customer acquisition, and retention initiatives as the company continues scaling its integrated smart oven and meal platform. The appointment comes during a period of significant growth for the company, which is nearing 50 million meals delivered while expanding its product portfolio, partnerships, and marketing capabilities.

David Rabie, co-founder and CEO of Tovala, highlighted Braun’s track record of building and growing consumer brands and said his expertise in subscriptions, branding, and customer acquisition will help support the company’s next phase of growth.

Before joining Tovala, Braun served as Chief Growth Officer at SimpliSafe, where he led marketing and growth initiatives that contributed to subscription revenue expansion and brand transformation efforts. Prior to that, he helped scale Drizly into a nationally recognized consumer platform as Chief Marketing Officer. Earlier in his career, Braun held senior leadership positions at VistaPrint and spent more than a decade at Procter & Gamble and Gillette, leading global brands and product innovation programs.

Braun said he was attracted to Tovala’s combination of fresh food and smart oven technology, noting that the platform addresses everyday consumer needs by delivering convenience without sacrificing quality. He added that he looks forward to helping introduce the brand to a broader audience.
