Tracktile, a Canadian AI software company focused on modernizing operations for small and medium-sized food and beverage manufacturers, has secured a $1.25 million Seed investment to accelerate the development and expansion of its AI-powered Operating System. The funding round was led by BDC Seed Venture Fund and Island Capital Partners, with participation from Graphite Ventures, marking a significant step in Tracktile’s plan to bring enterprise-grade intelligent manufacturing tools to underserved operators across North America.

The Charlottetown-based company provides a cloud platform that digitizes production runs, enhances traceability, and delivers real-time operational insights. The system automates data collection and uses predictive intelligence to help plant managers anticipate bottlenecks and make faster, more informed decisions that reduce waste, increase visibility, and improve profitability.

Tracktile reports that customers using the platform have seen measurable improvements, including 98 percent inventory precision, traceability audits reduced from days to under 1 hour, onboard time for new staff accelerated by 80 percent, and waste cut by as much as 45 percent.

With the new capital, Tracktile plans to build advanced AI features, expand its sales organization, and deepen its presence across North American food and beverage facilities. The company also expects to expand its technology into additional manufacturing segments facing complex operational challenges.

The founders emphasize that their vision centers not on digitizing old workflows but reimagining them entirely with AI that operates alongside plant teams. Tracktile’s Early Adopter Program reportedly demonstrated high engagement from manufacturers seeking rapid operational improvements and a guaranteed return on investment. Investors cite Tracktile’s domain expertise, high customer resonance, and capital efficiency as core reasons for their participation in the round.

KEY QUOTES

“Manufacturers need tools that don’t just collect data, but guarantee a return on investment. This funding allows us to embed deeper intelligence that converts real time visibility into actionable cost savings, moving the conversation from ‘what may be happening’ to verified, measurable outcomes and slashing manual data entry across the plant.”

Jordan Rose, CEO And Co-Founder, Tracktile

“We’re building an AI operating system that thinks alongside plant managers, not just for them. Our architecture learns from each production run, anticipates bottlenecks before they happen, and surfaces insights that would take hours of manual analysis. This funding lets us push the boundaries of what’s possible when you combine manufacturing domain expertise with cutting edge AI.”

Jarred Kenny, CTO And Co-Founder, Tracktile

“Having spent years in food manufacturing, I’ve seen firsthand how much time gets lost to spreadsheets and manual tracking. It’s not about digitizing old workflows, we’re reimagining them entirely. Our AI understands the unique challenges of food production, from batch traceability to yield optimization, and translates complex data into decisions that directly impact the bottom line.”

Jordan Rose, CEO And Co-Founder, Tracktile

“BDC’s Seed Venture Fund partners with founders building AI solutions that deliver tangible value for Canadian SMEs and beyond. Tracktile exemplifies this by digitizing F and B manufacturing operations through its AI powered Operating System, helping customers boost productivity, enhance competitiveness, and reduce costs.”

Daniel Nieto, Principal, BDC Seed Venture Fund

“Tracktile is exactly the kind of innovation we back at Island Capital Partners. The founders truly understand customer pain points and deliver solutions with immediate, measurable value. Jordan and Jarred have experienced the realities of food manufacturing firsthand, and they are not just digitizing workflows; they are redefining how SMB manufacturers access enterprise level operational intelligence. The strong engagement from their Early Adopter Program confirms what we saw early: this team has built something manufacturers actually want to use. We are thrilled to support their growth.”

Katie Arsenault, Partner, Island Capital Partners

“At Graphite, we look for founders who intimately understand a customer’s pain point and deliver software that becomes indispensable in their daily operations. Tracktile fits that profile perfectly.
