Trade Nation has agreed to acquire the U.K. client book of Stratos Markets Limited, which operates the FXCM and Tradu brands in the U.K., expanding Trade Nation’s domestic spread betting and contracts-for-difference business.
The companies expect the client transfer to be completed in late November 2026.
Trade Nation and FXCM have developed a transition plan intended to maintain continuity for customers throughout the transfer process.
The transaction adds a substantial group of experienced traders to Trade Nation, which focuses exclusively on spread betting and CFD products.
Trade Nation has positioned its offering around competitive pricing, multiple trading platforms and direct customer support.
The company said it has previous experience managing customer-book transfers and plans to apply that experience to the FXCM migration.
The acquisition follows additional investments by Trade Nation during 2026 in its trading technology and broader client proposition.
The firm was also named Best Forex and CFD Broker UK at the TradingView Broker Awards 2025.
KEY QUOTES:
“FXCM’s UK clients are exactly the traders we built Trade Nation for: experienced people who know precisely what they want from a broker. We are delighted to welcome them, and from day one they should expect what our clients already value: very competitive pricing, a range of platforms you already know, and real people when you need them. This is a significant step for Trade Nation, and there is more to come.”
Jon Noble, Chief Executive Officer of Trade Nation
“Our priority throughout has been finding the right home for our UK clients. Trade Nation stood out for its platforms and its service culture, and we are confident our clients will be well looked after.”
Brendan Callan, Chief Executive Officer of Stratos Group
