Trading Technologies International has acquired TRAFiX, a provider of equities and equity options order and execution management systems and FIX connectivity solutions. Financial terms were not disclosed.
The acquisition extends TT’s cloud-native platform into global equities and equity options, adding those markets to its existing coverage of futures, foreign exchange, fixed income and cryptocurrencies.
Integrating TRAFiX will provide customers with execution management, order management, FIX connectivity, risk management, analytics, regulatory reporting, trade surveillance, compliance workflows and margin analytics through a more unified platform.
The combination is also intended to help buy-side and sell-side customers replace fragmented legacy technology environments with a single architecture supporting cross-asset trading and risk management.
TRAFiX is trusted by more than 200 customers worldwide and provides connectivity to more than 100 trading venues.
