Traffic and Mobility Consultants, a Florida-based transportation planning and traffic engineering firm backed by Grovecourt Capital Partners, has acquired Chindalur Traffic Solutions, a Jacksonville-based traffic and transportation engineering firm serving public agencies and private developers throughout Northeast Florida. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Founded in 2014 by Raj Chindalur, CTSi has built expertise across traffic operations analysis, traffic impact studies, safety studies, travel demand modeling, signal design, intersection design, and transportation policy planning. The firm’s client work spans county-wide mobility plans, corridor analyses, complex intersection redesigns, and signal modifications serving state, county, and municipal clients as well as residential and commercial developers. Chindalur will continue in a leadership role within the combined organization.
The acquisition establishes a dedicated TMC presence in the Jacksonville market and marks the firm’s fourth acquisition following O’Rourke Engineering and Planning in February 2024, Lincks and Associates in May 2024, and Propel Engineering in September 2024, advancing TMC’s strategy to become Florida’s premier transportation engineering platform.
