Transient.AI has secured a strategic investment from Nasdaq Ventures as part of its Series A financing, adding Nasdaq to a round led by NEXT Investors as the company expands its secure AI operating system for regulated financial markets.
Financial terms of Nasdaq Ventures’ investment and the overall Series A were not disclosed.
Transient is developing infrastructure designed to allow banks, hedge funds, asset managers and other regulated financial organizations to deploy autonomous AI agents while maintaining strict controls around data, policies and system behavior.
The company describes its platform as a secure intelligence layer for financial markets.
Its Declarative Agentic Framework, or DAF, connects existing financial infrastructure with governed AI systems while enforcing deterministic safety guardrails, real-time oversight, zero external data retention and strict sandboxing.
Those controls are intended to prevent AI agents from operating outside an institution’s established policies or security boundaries.
Transient’s Caddie.AI secured AI intelligence associate operates within that framework and is designed to support activities across the trading lifecycle.
Potential applications span sales, execution, trade management, operations and back-office processes.
The company is positioning governance as a fundamental requirement for enterprise AI adoption in financial services, where autonomous systems need to operate within tightly controlled and auditable environments.
Nasdaq Ventures’ participation also follows adoption of Transient’s technology by Nasdaq, according to the company.
The Series A capital will support expansion across North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific.
Transient plans to grow its enterprise presence and platform deployment across financial centers including London, Singapore, Tokyo and Hong Kong.
