Transit Technologies: CFO Appointment To Support AI-Driven Platform Growth

By Amit Chowdhry ● Apr 5, 2026

Transit Technologies, a software company focused on modern mobility systems, announced the appointment of Lisa Horkins as Chief Financial Officer as the company advances its AI-first platform strategy and scales its operations.

Horkins joins Transit Technologies with extensive experience building and leading finance organizations at high-growth technology companies. She previously held leadership roles at Flipp and Mitratech, where she helped develop financial infrastructure to support rapid expansion. She began her career in public accounting at Ernst & Young.

In her new role, Horkins will oversee all finance functions across Transit Technologies’ expanding portfolio, supporting strategic investment, innovation, and long-term value creation as the company continues to grow its presence in mobility and transportation technology.

The appointment comes during a period of expansion for Transit Technologies, which is investing heavily in AI-driven capabilities and pursuing acquisitions to meet increasing demand from public transit agencies, campuses, airports, and specialized mobility providers.

Horkins succeeds James Hajek, who served as CFO for five years and helped guide the company through twelve acquisitions, a recapitalization with PSG Equity, and multiple complex financial transactions.
