Transom Capital Group, a Los Angeles-based private equity firm focused on operational transformation, has completed its acquisition of WellBiz Brands, a Denver-headquartered beauty and wellness franchisor with a portfolio of five membership-driven, recurring service concepts. Financial terms were not disclosed.
WellBiz operates a multi-brand platform with more than 700 locations across the United States, Canada, Europe, and the Middle East. Its portfolio includes Drybar, Elements Massage, Amazing Lash Studio, Fitness Together, and Radiant Waxing, spanning salon, massage, lash, fitness, and waxing categories.
Transom said the partnership is intended to accelerate WellBiz’s growth and profitability while strengthening franchisee support. The firm plans to apply its hands-on operating approach across areas such as franchise system support, unit expansion, marketing performance, and operational execution.
WellBiz has been executing leadership and performance initiatives under CEO Amanda Clark since March 2024, including efforts to strengthen the leadership team, improve same-store sales, enhance the franchisee proposition, and drive innovation across the brand portfolio.
