TrashLab has raised a $12 million growth round to expand its AI-native software platform for waste and recycling operators. Ventana led the financing, with participation from existing investors Bienville Capital, Harlem Capital, and CreativeCo.
Ventana co-founder and partner Vinay Kumar will join TrashLab’s board, while former ServiceTitan and BuildOps Chief Growth Officer Ershad Jamil will become an independent director.
TrashLab plans to use the funding to accelerate product development, expand agentic workflows, and grow its go-to-market organization.
The platform replaces disconnected spreadsheets, paper routing processes, and legacy systems with a unified operating environment spanning customer relationship management, call centers, dispatch, routing, driver applications, cameras, billing, payments, and reporting.
TrashLab’s AI agent, Haul-E, can answer incoming calls and capture after-hours orders.
Nearly 80% of TrashLab customers currently use Haul-E.
Since launch, haulers have managed more than five million tons of material through the platform.
TrashLab now serves hundreds of customers across more than 40 U.S. states and Canada.
The company said annual contract value has increased more than sevenfold since 2024 as customers adopt additional modules and expand usage across multiple lines of business.
TrashLab serves businesses operating roll-off, residential, commercial, septic, and other waste services.
The company plans to develop additional agentic workflows covering customer service, dispatch, collections, and revenue intelligence through 2027.
TrashLab was founded in 2022 by CEO Neil Chaudhary and CTO John Tan.
Chaudhary previously worked at BCG and EY-Parthenon, while Tan was a senior engineer at Stripe and Google.
