Traumasoft Acquires EMS Platform Company Huly

By Amit Chowdhry • Feb 11, 2026

Traumasoft, a provider of integrated emergency medical services (EMS) management software, has acquired Huly, an AI-native platform that streamlines administrative workflows across EMS operations. The companies said the deal is intended to position AI as “essential infrastructure” for the EMS industry while keeping Huly broadly interoperable and accessible to agencies regardless of their existing technology stack.

Under the transaction, Huly will continue operating under its existing brand and leadership, with founder and CEO Nidhish Dhru maintaining direction of the business. Traumasoft said the structure is designed to preserve Huly’s pace of product development and market reach, while also enabling tighter workflow integration for Traumasoft customers across areas such as EMS management systems, billing, QA/QI, and automation.

The companies framed the acquisition around workforce impact, arguing that reducing administrative burden is central to improving staff experience and mitigating burnout in EMS. Huly’s tools focus on operational pain points including pre-billing, quality assurance and improvement processes, and payroll. Traumasoft and Huly cited customer-reported outcomes that include reductions in first-time billing rejections and less manual work in pre-billing workflows, alongside improvements in cash flow, accuracy, and productivity.

Traumasoft said its customers will gain deeper, integrated workflows that connect core operational modules with Huly’s AI-driven automation, while Huly will retain control over its product roadmap and operating cadence to continue serving the broader EMS ecosystem.

KEY QUOTES

“This acquisition is about the future of EMS, not just the future of Traumasoft. We believe AI will become critical infrastructure for every EMS organization. Allowing Huly to operate with a degree of independence enables it to move quickly, stay market-focused, and deliver value across the entire EMS ecosystem, not just to Traumasoft customers.”

Dave O’Reilly, Chief Executive Officer, Traumasoft

“We built Huly to solve the real, often invisible problems that slow teams down and wear people out. This partnership gives us the scale and resources to grow to better support our customers while staying focused on innovation and service to the fulsome EMS market.”
