Tredence Acquires KMK Consulting To Accelerate Healthcare And Life Sciences Growth

Tredence announced that it has acquired KMK Consulting, a specialized analytics and consulting firm with deep expertise in the life sciences and biopharma industries.

The acquisition positions Healthcare and Life Sciences as a major growth frontier for Tredence, with the company targeting the segment to represent about 25% of overall revenue by 2028.

Headquartered in Morris Plains, New Jersey, KMK Consulting works with 8 of the world’s top 10 pharmaceutical companies. The company brings more than two decades of experience across commercial analytics, real-world evidence, market research, and biopharma decision-making.

Tredence said the acquisition comes as the global market for AI in life sciences is expected to grow to $69.3 billion by 2031. By combining KMK’s life sciences domain expertise with Tredence’s agentic AI capabilities, the combined company is expected to create differentiated offerings for life sciences customers.

The deal is designed to help life sciences companies accelerate their agentic AI journeys, particularly in process-heavy areas that have historically been slower to transform. Tredence said the ability to harness data at scale is unlocking new value creation opportunities across the sector.

The acquisition also positions Tredence as an AI partner across the full molecule-to-market journey. By combining KMK’s domain knowledge with Tredence’s applied AI, data engineering, and decision intelligence capabilities, the combined business aims to compress timelines from research and development through commercial launch.

Tredence said the acquisition also strengthens its position within the Veeva ecosystem. Veeva is a cloud-based CRM and data platform built for the life sciences industry and is widely used by pharmaceutical companies to manage commercial operations, medical engagement, and incentive compensation.

The acquisition comes as pharmaceutical companies accelerate AI investments and as agentic AI begins to reshape traditional services. Tredence said deep domain expertise is becoming a major differentiator as AI adoption increases across healthcare and life sciences.

Tredence is a global AI and data science solutions provider focused on solving the last-mile problem in AI, which is the gap between insight creation and value realization. The company has more than 4,200 employees across the San Francisco Bay Area, Chicago, Riyadh, London, Toronto, and Bengaluru.
