Triangle Group has raised $15 million in equity and venture debt to expand its live touring and festival infrastructure across Asia-Pacific. The financing consists of a $10 million equity seed round led by DSG Consumer Partners, with participation from Golden Gate Ventures, the Oberoi Family Office, and angel investors, along with a $5 million venture debt facility from Genesis Alternative Ventures.
Alongside the financing, former Live Nation Asia Pacific President Roger Field has joined Triangle Asia as Executive Director and Operating Partner after spending approximately a year as an advisor and investor.
Triangle operates an end-to-end live entertainment platform across 18 cities in nine countries. The company manages touring and festivals from initial offers through final performances while taking responsibility for the financial performance of individual tours and festivals.
Its strategy centers on building regional touring infrastructure tailored to individual Asian markets rather than applying a standardized global model.
Triangle also plans to expand into adjacent consumer services such as travel and hospitality packages as live entertainment becomes a larger component of the broader experience economy.
KEY QUOTES:
“We set out to build seamless, end-to-end infrastructure for artists and festivals coming to Asia. A raise this size in this market, and the region’s most senior executive choosing to join us, are the clearest proof yet that vision is real, and ready to scale.”
Greg Hargrave, CEO and Co-Founder of Triangle
“Running Live Nation across this region taught me one thing: Asia-Pacific doesn’t need a global template; it needs an operator who understands every market individually. That’s the business we’re building at Triangle, where the standards of a global player are applied with a regional focus.”
Roger Field, Executive Director and Operating Partner at Triangle Asia
“We build around the specific artist in terms of who their audience is, which markets are ready, when to step up and when to hold. We’re not booking a one-off; we’re routing a region.”
Zaran Vachha, Managing Director of Culture & Creative and Co-Founder of Triangle
