Trillium Flow Technologies To Sell Trillium Pumps US To Crane For About $240 Million

Trillium Flow Technologies has agreed to sell its U.S. pumps business to Crane Company for approximately $240 million as the First Reserve portfolio company continues reshaping its flow control portfolio.

Trillium Pumps US primarily serves municipal water and wastewater customers through its Floway, Wemco, Roto-Jet and WSP brands.

The company manufactures highly engineered pumping systems and benefits from an installed base that generates recurring service, repair, retrofit and replacement demand over the lifecycle of its equipment.

The sale represents another step in Trillium’s portfolio strategy under First Reserve ownership, allowing the U.S. pumps business to move into Crane while Trillium continues focusing on its remaining engineered flow control and aftermarket operations.

The transaction is expected to close later in 2026, subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals.

J.P. Morgan Securities is serving as financial advisor to Trillium Flow Technologies and First Reserve, while Freshfields is legal advisor.

First Reserve has raised more than $35 billion of capital since its founding in 1983 and has participated in more than 750 platform and add-on transactions across infrastructure, energy, utilities and industrial markets.
