Trinity Capital Originates $880 Million In New Commitments During Q3 2026

Trinity Capital originated approximately $880 million of new investment commitments and funded approximately $614 million of gross investments during the third quarter of 2026.

The $880 million of new commitments included $534 million in secured loans, $270 million in equipment financings, and $76 million in equity investments.

Gross investments funded during the quarter consisted of approximately $378 million in secured loans, $159 million in equipment financings, and $77 million in warrant and equity investments.

Trinity funded approximately $432 million across 15 new portfolio companies during the quarter.

Another $118 million was provided to 24 existing portfolio companies, while approximately $64 million went to multi-sector holdings.

The alternative asset manager received approximately $495 million of gross proceeds from repayments and investment exits during the quarter.

That included $237 million from debt investments sold, $195 million from early debt repayments and refinancings, $57 million of scheduled or amortizing debt payments, and $6 million from warrant and equity exits.

For the first nine months of 2026, Trinity originated approximately $2 billion of new commitments and funded roughly $1.5 billion of investments.

Those nine-month funded investments included $1.1 billion of secured loans, $322 million of equipment financings, and $131 million of warrant and equity investments.

Trinity funded approximately $927 million across 36 new portfolio companies and $526 million across 35 existing portfolio companies during the period.

The company also received approximately $1.1 billion from repayments and exits during the first three quarters of the year.

Trinity Capital focuses on private credit through Sponsor Finance, Equipment Finance, Tech Lending, Asset Based Lending, and Healthcare & Life Sciences.

The company plans to release its complete third-quarter financial results on November 4, 2026.
