Triplemoon: $3.5 Million Seed Funding Raised For Improving Pediatric Mental Health Through Tech-Enabled Clinical Care

Triplemoon, a Dallas-based digital health company specializing in pediatric mental health, has announced the successful closing of a $3.5 million seed round led by Activate Venture Partners (New York) and LiveOak Ventures (Texas).

The funding will support the company’s expansion into key markets through partnerships with primary care clinics. It will further develop its tech-enabled clinical ecosystem designed to address the nation’s growing pediatric mental health crisis.

Founded in 2023 by Lauren Gage, a parent and former McKinsey & Company and Goldman Sachs executive, Triplemoon was born from personal experience with the challenges of accessing mental health support for children. The company’s mission is to bridge the gap between mental health and primary care by integrating behavioral health services directly into pediatric clinics, providing support for both commercially insured and Medicaid populations.

The Triplemoon platform connects pediatricians and families with a virtual network of psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers who collaborate to diagnose, treat, and manage a range of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism, and oppositional defiant disorder (ODD). The company’s comprehensive model of care includes diagnosis, behavioral interventions, care coordination, whole-family education, and medication management.

According to Gage, Triplemoon’s approach not only helps children access critical mental health services but also alleviates the burden on primary care physicians, who currently handle 55% of pediatric mental health triage without adequate resources. With an estimated 39 million children in need of mental health care and only 20% receiving it, Triplemoon is positioned to deliver meaningful impact across the healthcare system.

The company’s attachment-informed clinical philosophy is central to its care model. By emphasizing the importance of early development, play-based learning, and strong parent–child relationships, Triplemoon’s clinical framework is designed to promote long-lasting emotional and behavioral health improvements that extend beyond treatment.

This funding will help Triplemoon strengthen its collaborative care infrastructure and continue to build partnerships with primary care networks, payers, and healthcare providers nationwide.

Through its model, the company aims to create a scalable, accessible, and evidence-based approach that improves mental health outcomes while reducing the strain on the healthcare system.
