Tripo AI announced the completion of its Series A+ and Series A++ financing rounds, raising nearly $200 million to accelerate the development of its AI 3D foundation models and world model technologies. The company said the funding will support expansion of its research teams, investment in core algorithms, enhancement of data and infrastructure systems, and growth of its global product ecosystem.

As part of the announcement, Tripo AI unveiled Project Eden, a new world model research initiative focused on enabling persistent, reusable, and multiplayer interactive environments. The project is designed around a three-layer architecture that separates world state management from visual rendering, allowing virtual environments to maintain consistency over time and across multiple viewpoints. According to the company, this approach is intended to support long-term environmental persistence, editable worlds, and concurrent interactions among both human users and AI agents.

Tripo AI said Project Eden represents a step beyond traditional AI models that generate text, images, or video frames. Instead, the initiative seeks to create dynamic virtual worlds capable of responding to user actions, agent behavior, and environmental changes while maintaining a consistent underlying state. The company believes these capabilities could serve as a foundation for interactive content creation, embodied AI research, multi-agent simulations, and next-generation world generation systems.

The funding follows continued progress in Tripo AI’s 3D generation platform. The company highlighted the release of Tripo H3.1 and Tripo P1.0 in March 2026, which are designed to generate detailed geometry and production-ready meshes more efficiently. Tripo AI said these advances help move generated 3D content beyond static assets by making it editable, interactive, and capable of evolving within persistent digital environments.

The company also announced enhancements to Tripo Studio, including Native 8K AI Textures and Intelligent Part Segmentation V2. The texture technology is intended to improve visual quality for generated 3D assets across professional workflows, while the upgraded segmentation system allows creators to preview and divide AI-generated models into varying levels of detail for applications such as game development, film production, and 3D printing.

In addition, Tripo AI emphasized its commitment to open-source development. Building on previous initiatives, the company completed the third season of its open-source program with releases including TripoSplat, AniGen, SkinTokens, and LegoACE. These projects span multiple areas of the AI 3D technology stack and are intended to support researchers, developers, and creators working on advanced spatial computing applications.

Founded to make high-quality spatial creation accessible to a broader audience, Tripo AI develops AI 3D foundation models, world model technologies, creative tools, and ecosystem applications serving industries such as gaming, film, virtual and augmented reality, digital twins, intelligent manufacturing, and embodied AI.
