- Trivest Partners recently announced it hired nine people to the firm in various positions. Here is an overview.
Trivest Partners, LP — a leading private equity firm focused on founder/family-owned businesses — announced it has made several additions to its team in order to support the firm’s strong growth. And now Trivest has a total of 27 active portfolio companies with additional platforms under a letter of intent. Last year, Trivest closed a record 21 investments and the firm already surpassed this mark with 28 investments closed year-to-date in 2019.
Here is an overview of nine recent hires that support new positions at Trivest:
Kristin Archer is joining Trivest as a Vice President investment professional. Before joining Trivest, Archer worked at Thompson Street Capital Partners where she executed middle-market transactions across a range of industries. Plus she also worked as an investment banker with Deutsche Bank Securities in New York.
Mario Masrieh is coming to Trivest as a Vice President investment professional. Prior to joining Trivest, Masrieh worked at Gridiron Capital LLC in Connecticut where he supported middle-market private equity investments. And he also worked at Morgan Stanley’s global consumer and retail investment banking group based in New York.
Patrick Mirski is now a Senior Associate investment professional at Trivest. And Mirski previously worked at Chicago-based Sterling Partners where he evaluated private equity investments in the franchise and healthcare sectors. Plus he also worked in investment banking with Lincoln International where he advised private equity-owned and privately-held and publicly-owned clients on strategic transactions.
Jonathan Schonfeld is joining to Trivest as a Senior Associate investment professional. Before Trivest, Schonfeld worked at Hale Capital Partners in New York where he led diligence and deal execution for strategic investments. And he is bringing expertise in investment banking from Credit Suisse and Jefferies LLC with a focus on media and telecommunications.
Ulrich Erasmus is coming to Trivest as an Associate. Erasmus previously worked at Trive Capital Management LLC based in Dallas where he directed all phases of the diligence process in evaluating LBO, structured capital, and minority equity investment opportunities. Plus he worked as a private equity analyst with Richmond-based Private Advisors LLC.
Spencer Ledwith was named as an Associate investment professional at Trivest. He was previously an investment banker with Raymond James in Baltimore and Ledwith was an active participant in diligence sessions. And he is bringing his experience in sell-side and buy-side M&A, capital raising, and restructuring to Trivest.
Samir Reddy is joining Trivest as an Associate investment professional. Reddy is coming from Piper Jaffray & Co based in San Francisco where he was part of the investment bank’s consumer group. And Reddy is bringing significant transaction experience for public, sponsor-backed, and founder-owned companies in the food service and healthcare industries.
Hans Grunwaldt is coming to Trivest as a Vice President in its Portfolio Support group. And Grunwaldt brings extensive finance and global operations expertise honed across multiple roles within Miami-based Restaurant Brands International (parent company of Burger King), Tim Hortons, and Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen.
And Ryan Parker is joining Trivest as Director of Marketing. Parker has extensive experience leading creative production and brand development across the real estate, technology, and sports industries. Parker was formerly Group Creative Director of CAA Golf — which is a leading sponsorship consulting agency with clients like Zurich, CDW, Farmers Insurance, and the PGA Tour.
