TRP Infrastructure Services, a Fort Worth-based provider of pavement marking and traffic control solutions, has acquired Striping Technology, L.P., a Tyler, Texas-headquartered pavement marking contractor focused on the broader East Texas region.
The deal adds a long-tenured regional operator to TRP’s footprint and is intended to accelerate the company’s expansion across Texas and the Southeast by strengthening local capacity, customer reach, and field capabilities in a high-demand corridor for transportation and infrastructure work.
Striping Technology will operate as TRP’s East Texas division, with Striping Technology President Blake Schroeder set to lead the division under TRP. The company is known for its longstanding work supporting the Texas Department of Transportation and regional contractors, delivering pavement marking and traffic control services that are closely tied to roadway safety and compliance requirements.
TRP is backed by Arlington Capital Partners, a Washington, D.C.-area private investment firm focused on government-regulated industries. Arlington has positioned TRP as a platform investment in safety-critical roadway services, with an emphasis on building scale through a mix of organic growth and acquisitions in core geographies.
The acquisition deepens TRP’s presence in Texas while supporting the company’s broader strategy of operating a multi-branch network across the Southeast. TRP provides pavement marking, traffic control, and guardrail solutions through regional branches serving Texas, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, Louisiana, Arkansas, and Virginia.
Executives framed the transaction as both a geographic expansion and an operational upgrade, pointing to Striping Technology’s reputation, entrenched customer relationships, and on-the-ground execution capabilities in East Texas. TRP leadership said the combination should help the company respond faster to customers and deliver consistent service quality as it continues building a national platform in a highly regulated, infrastructure-dependent market.
The companies did not disclose financial terms of the transaction.
