TRP Infrastructure Services Completes Five Acquisitions And Launches Gulf Highway Materials

TRP Infrastructure Services has acquired five roadway infrastructure companies, expanding its pavement marking and traffic control operations across the Central and Southeastern U.S. while vertically integrating part of its materials supply chain.

The Arlington Capital Partners portfolio company acquired Interstate Barricades & Markings, Alamo Roadway Materials, Traffic Control Products Co., DIJ Construction, and Batterson LLP.

The transactions expand TRP’s geographic presence and customer base in Texas, Mississippi, and other Southeastern markets.

TRP is also using the acquisitions to launch Gulf Highway Materials, a thermoplastic pavement markings manufacturing business.

The new division will include three manufacturing facilities acquired through the transactions and will supply material to TRP’s growing pavement marking operations.

Vertical integration is intended to give TRP a more reliable and cost-effective source of materials while the company continues expanding its project base.

TRP performs hundreds of roadway infrastructure projects annually, providing pavement marking, traffic control, guardrail, and permanent safety installations.

The founders and leaders of the acquired companies will remain involved in operations.

Following the transactions, TRP operates across more than 30 locations serving Texas, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas, and Virginia.

Arlington has backed TRP since 2021 and sees continued demand arising from population growth, aging road infrastructure, and the future requirements of autonomous vehicles.
