Truck Parking Club operates a digital marketplace that connects truck drivers with property owners who offer, rent, and monetize underutilized space for hourly, daily, weekly, or monthly parking, helping reduce the nationwide truck parking shortage. Pulse 2.0 interviewed Truck Parking Club co-founder and CEO Evan Shelley to learn more.
Evan Shelley’s Background

Could you tell me more about your background? Shelley said:
“I grew up in rural Kentucky and, after college, moved to Florida to kickstart my real estate career. I was part of many residential and commercial land deals while in the real estate industry.”
“I found the truck parking issue while working on a specific piece of real estate I thought would be best suited for truck parking only. In my research and discussions, I discovered that the local municipality would not support truck parking at the location, despite it being zoned industrial. This was my first step into the truck parking world, and I haven’t looked back since.”
Formation Of The Company
How did the idea for the company come together? Shelley shared:
“The idea came from recognizing a massive problem every truck driver talks about: there simply aren’t enough safe, legal parking spots. Drivers waste close to an hour every day searching for parking. I wanted to create a platform that connects underutilized parking locations with drivers who need them, using technology to make the process seamless.”
Favorite Memory
What has been your favorite memory working for the company so far? Shelley reflected:
“It’s always rewarding when we see the real-world impact of what we’re building.”
“For 3 weeks in 2025, I was on the road driving a 5,400 mile loop – attending conferences, meeting with Truck Parking Club trucker members, property members, team members and industry partners. It was an amazing experience that allowed me to learn a lot.”
Core Products

What are the company’s core products and features? Shelley explained:
“Our core product is a booking platform that enables truck drivers (Trucker Members) to find and reserve parking in real time at our Property Member locations. Our product enables Property Members to list space on their properties for truck parking – everything from small lots to large facilities – and make them available through our app and website. Features include location-based search, instant booking, and secure payment. It’s designed to be simple for drivers and property owners alike.”
Challenges Faced
Have you faced any challenges in your sector of work recently? Shelley acknowledged:
“Awareness has been one of the biggest challenges. Truck parking isn’t always the headline issue, even though it affects every driver on the road. We’ve worked hard to build relationships with property owners and trucking companies, and to educate the industry (and local communities) that there’s a scalable, tech-driven solution available. That persistence has helped us grow quickly, and we’re always focused on this.”
Evolution Of The Company’s Technology
How has the company’s technology evolved since launching? Shelley noted:
“We started with a basic version of the platform that allowed reservations, but we’ve continually added features based on driver feedback. For example, we’ve created an Organizations program to enable large fleets to provide their drivers with access to parking at our location, developed our own proprietary access controls system that enables drivers to open and access gates at our locations when they have an active reservation, and streamlined the onboarding process for property owners. Our focus is always on reducing friction and making the app as intuitive as possible.”
Significant Milestones
What have been some of the company’s most significant milestones? Shelley cited:
“A big milestone was reaching our first thousand parking locations across the U.S., which gave drivers more choice and flexibility. Another was partnering with larger property owners who operate nationwide, which helped us scale faster. But honestly, every time we expand into a new region and hear from drivers that we’re filling a real need, it feels like a milestone.”
“Currently, we have 2,623 locations – and we’re adding 7-10 new locations per day.”
Customer Success Stories
Can you share any specific customer success stories? Shelley highlighted:
“We’ve had drivers tell us that without Truck Parking Club, they would have had no choice but to park in unsafe or illegal spots. One driver told us that he was able to reserve a space just a mile away from his delivery site, which saved him hours the next morning. Those stories highlight how parking isn’t just about convenience – it’s about safety, efficiency, and peace of mind.”
“Our success is outlined in our weekly write-ups about new parking spots being added:

Funding/Revenue
Are you able to discuss funding and/or revenue metrics? Shelley pointed out:
“While I can’t share specific revenue numbers, I can say that the traction has been very strong. We’ve seen consistent month-over-month growth both in driver adoption and in property partners joining the platform. Our revenue model is straightforward – we take a percentage of each booking – and it’s been sustainable as we scale.”
Total Addressable Market
What total addressable market (TAM) size is the company pursuing? Shelley assessed:
“Truck parking in the U.S. is a massive, multi-billion-dollar problem. There are over 2 million truck drivers on the road daily and fewer than 700,000 legal spaces. That gap represents not only an enormous challenge but also a huge market opportunity for a platform like ours to bridge the supply-demand imbalance.”
Differentiation From The Competition
What differentiates the company from its competition? Shelley affirmed:
“Well, there isn’t really anyone like us on the market today. What sets us apart is our laser focus on parking and the simplicity of our platform. We’re not trying to be everything to everyone – we’re solving one very real pain point for drivers and doing it better than anyone else. We also work closely with both sides of the marketplace (drivers and property owners) to make sure the system benefits everyone.”
Future Company Goals
What are some of the company’s future goals? Shelley concluded:
“Truck Parking Club’s mission is to reduce the time it takes drivers to find parking daily from 56 minutes to 10 minutes or less. To accomplish this, we need tens of thousands of locations across the US. Our immediate property goal is to reach 10,000 by the end of 2026.”
