True Global Ventures, a global venture capital firm focused on AI-first technology companies, announced the appointment of Tal Elyashiv as General Partner as the firm deepens its focus on the San Francisco Bay Area and California-based startups.
Based in San Francisco and Singapore, True Global Ventures said Elyashiv will relocate to the U.S. later this year, strengthening the company’s growing footprint in Silicon Valley. The appointment comes as the firm accelerates investments through TGV Fund 6, which focuses on late seed and Series A investments in AI-first business application companies.
Elyashiv brings decades of experience spanning venture capital, financial services, and technology leadership across Silicon Valley, Wall Street, and Tel Aviv. He is the co-founder and Managing Partner of SPiCE VC, which is described as the first fully tokenized venture capital fund globally. He will continue leading SPiCE VC while contributing to True Global Ventures, with the firms noting there is no conflict of interest due to differing investment mandates.
He is also a co-founder of Securitize, a platform focused on the tokenization of real-world assets and digital securities infrastructure. In addition, Elyashiv authored the books Blockchain Prophecies and Investing in Revolutions: Creating Wealth from Transformational Technology Waves, which focus on AI, blockchain, and quantum computing trends.
Prior to his work in venture capital and blockchain, Elyashiv held senior leadership positions at Capital One and Bank of America. He also served as COO at BondDesk Group and as CTO and Head of New Businesses at 888.
True Global Ventures said Elyashiv’s experience as both an operator and investor aligns with the firm’s strategy of backing category-defining founders building next-generation AI and technology businesses.
The company’s portfolio includes Prezent, Cynch, COVU, Obligo, Ledger, Animoca Brands, Jus Mundi, and Coding Giants.
