Truelink Capital Completes Acquisition Of JT Thorpe Group

Truelink Capital has completed its acquisition of JT Thorpe Group, a provider of specialty industrial maintenance, thermal management and asset integrity services across North America.

Financial terms were not disclosed. JT Thorpe’s management team, led by CEO Kevin Howard, will continue operating the business and will retain a significant ownership stake.

Founded in 1906 and headquartered in Salt Lake City, JT Thorpe provides refractory, fireproofing, insulation, access and mechanical services supporting complex industrial facilities.

The company operates more than 30 locations across North America and serves customers in power generation, semiconductors, LNG, mining, steel, cement and other infrastructure and industrial markets.

Truelink plans to support both organic expansion and strategic acquisitions at JT Thorpe.

The transaction represents the third platform investment for Truelink Capital’s Fund II. Goldman Sachs and Harris Williams served as financial advisors to JT Thorpe.
