TrussPoint Roofing & Exterior Renovations, a residential home exterior services investment platform backed by private equity firm Soundcore Capital Partners, has acquired Eaton Roofing & Exteriors, expanding TrussPoint’s footprint in the Midwest and strengthening its presence in Kansas.
Eaton, founded in 1993, is one of Kansas’s larger residential re-roofing and exterior renovation providers and has completed more than 40,000 roof repairs and installations, according to the companies. The business operates multiple locations across the state, including Wichita, Topeka, Salina, Hutchinson, and Manhattan, and is known for serving homeowners and working closely with insurance partners on exterior restoration projects.
The deal adds scale and local operating depth for TrussPoint, which was formed in 2025 as a platform focused on high-growth residential roofing and exterior services companies. TrussPoint launched with an initial investment in Ridge Top Exteriors and has positioned itself around retail-centered, vendor-managed repair and maintenance offerings in roofing and related exterior categories.
Eaton provides a suite of residential exterior services that includes roofing, siding, windows and doors, and gutters. TrussPoint said Eaton’s established reputation, statewide coverage, and experienced team align with the platform’s emphasis on customer service, craftsmanship, and operational execution. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
TrussPoint Chief Executive Officer Chad Colony said the acquisition brings a well-regarded operator into the platform and supports TrussPoint’s strategy of building a scaled regional presence through partnerships with local brands. Eaton President Chad Harrison said the combination is expected to provide additional resources while allowing the company to maintain its long-standing focus on serving Kansas homeowners.
Soundcore Capital Partners, founded in 2015 and based in New York, focuses on buy-and-build investing in the lower middle market across the U.S. and Canada. The firm said it has completed more than 100 acquisitions across multiple platform investments, with emphasis areas that include business and outsourced services, industrial services, specialty manufacturing, and value-added distribution.
