TSMC: August Revenue Jumps 53.3% Year Over Year To NT$514.81 Billion

Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company announced that consolidated net revenue for August 2026 reached approximately NT$514.81 billion, representing substantial growth on both a sequential and year-over-year basis.

TSMC said August revenue increased 10.1% from July 2026, providing a significant month-over-month increase for the semiconductor manufacturer.

Compared with the same month last year, the increase was considerably larger. August 2026 revenue rose 53.3% from August 2025, highlighting the significant expansion in TSMC’s consolidated revenue base over the past 12 months.

The company also reported strong cumulative growth through the first eight months of 2026. Revenue for the period from January through August 2026 totaled NT$3.38687 trillion.

That represented a 39.3% increase compared with the corresponding January-to-August period in 2025, indicating that the strong August performance was part of a broader year-to-date increase rather than an isolated monthly gain.

The August report therefore showed growth across all of the comparisons provided by TSMC: 10.1% sequential monthly growth, 53.3% year-over-year monthly growth, and 39.3% year-over-year growth for the first eight months of 2026.

At approximately NT$514.81 billion, August alone accounted for more than half a trillion New Taiwan dollars in consolidated revenue. Combined with the company’s cumulative NT$3.38687 trillion through August, the figures demonstrate the scale of TSMC’s revenue growth during the first eight months of the year.

TSMC issued the August revenue report on September 10, 2026 from Hsinchu, Taiwan. The release was focused specifically on monthly and year-to-date net revenue and did not provide additional information on profitability, margins, operating expenses, or earnings in the report.
