Tulkoff Foods, a Baltimore-based manufacturer of custom sauces, condiments, and ingredients, has acquired Celtrade Canada in a strategic move to expand its capabilities and culinary innovation footprint across North America.
The acquisition brings together two established players in the sauces and flavor solutions space, combining Tulkoff’s long-standing expertise in custom product development with Celtrade’s innovation-driven research and development capabilities. The combined business will operate with manufacturing facilities in both the United States and Canada, enabling enhanced production flexibility and improved service for customers across foodservice, retail, and industrial channels.
Celtrade, headquartered in Toronto, is known for its private label manufacturing and diverse product portfolio, including cooking sauces, infused oils, vinegars, spreads, gourmet condiments, and dressings. Its R&D team is expected to significantly strengthen Tulkoff’s ability to deliver new and differentiated products.
The combined entity will also expand packaging options, offering formats such as tubs, sachets, and dip cups. This broader packaging capability is designed to support a wider range of customer needs while increasing speed to market and operational efficiency.
Tulkoff, founded in 1926, has built a strong reputation serving both foodservice operators and consumer packaged goods brands across North America. The acquisition aligns with its strategy to scale innovation, broaden its product offerings, and deepen customer partnerships.
Both companies emphasized that the integration is expected to be seamless, with a focus on delivering enhanced value through increased capacity, expanded capabilities, and a more diverse product portfolio.
