TWG Global has appointed David A. Markowitz as Chief Legal Officer, adding a lawyer with three decades of legal and financial services experience to the holding company’s leadership team.
Markowitz will be based in New York and advise TWG Global’s leadership on legal matters supporting the firm’s strategic priorities and growth.
He joins after more than 15 years at Goldman Sachs, where he most recently served as Global Co-Head of Litigation and Regulatory Proceedings.
Before Goldman Sachs, Markowitz held senior positions with the Office of the New York Attorney General.
He also spent eight years with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s Division of Enforcement.
Markowitz holds a B.A., summa cum laude, from Lafayette College and a J.D. from New York University School of Law.
