Tyler Technologies has acquired Edu.Link Incorporated, a long-standing provider of educator evaluation, compliance tracking, and workflow automation solutions, in a move that broadens Tyler’s reach and strengthens its product suite for the K-12 education market.
The acquisition deepens Tyler’s School ERP human resources functionality by adding robust tools for evaluations, clearances, professional development, and district-wide workflow automation.
The combined offering aims to give school districts a more unified view of HR, compliance mandates, and operational processes, allowing administrators to streamline routine tasks and focus more on supporting staff and students. Tyler and Edulink bring more than 5 decades of combined experience serving education clients, further strengthening the company’s position as a leading provider of software solutions for the public sector.
Edulink’s product portfolio includes PAETEP, an electronic teacher evaluation system for managing observations, goal setting, and performance reviews, and Comply, a compliance and workflow platform for managing professional development, clearances, state requirements, reimbursements, field trip requests, and volunteer tracking. Both tools are widely used to reduce administrative workload and improve clarity around regulatory requirements.
Tyler stated that Edulink’s leadership and team will join the company as part of its Municipal and Schools Division. Founded in 1998 and based in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania, Edulink adds talent and product depth to Tyler’s education-focused division.
Tyler Technologies is headquartered in Plano, Texas, and provides software and technology services for local, state, and federal government organizations across the United States and several international regions. The publicly traded company serves over 15,000 locations and has more than 45,000 installations globally, with offerings spanning data connectivity, operational efficiency, and community engagement.
