U.S. Bank has named Chris Peary Chief Private Banking Officer for Wealth Management, putting a two-decade company veteran in charge of advancing banking, credit, and wealth solutions for affluent, high-net-worth, and ultra-high-net-worth clients.
Peary will oversee U.S. Bank’s relationship-focused private banking platform across its markets.
Most recently, he served as national banking lead and West region banking manager for Ascent Private Capital Management of U.S. Bank while continuing to work as a client advisor.
In those roles, Peary led national banking initiatives and teams serving ultra-high-net-worth clients.
His broader U.S. Bank career has included positions across consumer banking, business banking, Private Wealth Management and Ascent.
Peary has held roles within those businesses since 2016.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Colorado Boulder and a master’s degree in finance from the University of Colorado Denver.
