U.S. Legal Support announced it has acquired American Reporting Services, strengthening its presence in Northern California and expanding its nationwide litigation support capabilities. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Based in San Rafael, American Reporting Services has provided court reporting, legal videography, and deposition coordination services to attorneys across Northern California for more than two decades. The firm has built strong relationships with regional law firms by delivering reliable transcripts, consistent scheduling, and experienced reporting professionals.
The acquisition adds a well-established regional provider to U.S. Legal Support’s national network, enhancing its ability to support law firms handling cases across California and the broader West Coast. The move reflects continued consolidation in the litigation support industry, where clients increasingly seek providers capable of delivering consistent service and technology across multiple jurisdictions.
American Reporting Services will continue operating with its existing local team, while gaining access to U.S. Legal Support’s broader infrastructure, including remote deposition capabilities, record retrieval, process service, and trial support.
