U.S. Urology Partners announced a significant growth investment from General Atlantic, a leading global investor. This investment enhances the company’s position as a partner to leading, independent community-based urology practices, enabling them to focus on delivering premier care to the patients they serve. Following the funding from General Atlantic, NMS Capital exited its partnership with the company.
U.S. Urology Partners assists urology practices of all sizes in retaining independence and delivering quality care while practicing medicine in their preferred community-based setting. And the company supports its affiliated groups with deep expertise in business operations, data insights, and technology infrastructure to drive improved patient outcomes and satisfaction and to alleviate the substantial administrative burdens that lead to burnout for many U.S. providers. The company also invests in end-to-end clinical capabilities for genitourinary oncology (primarily prostate, kidney, and bladder cancer, which account for nearly 500,000 new cases annually in the U.S.) and non-oncology treatment pathways.
New board members: Robbert Vorhoff and Jon Michael Reese will join the company’s Board of Directors, which will also include substantial physician representation.
Advisors: Houlihan Lokey served as lead financial advisor to U.S. Urology Partners and NMS Capital. Ernst & Young Capital Advisors also worked as financial advisor to the company and NMS Capital. McDermott Will & Emery provided legal counsel to U.S. Urology Partners and NMS Capital.
