Ubicquia, a leader in AI-driven intelligent infrastructure solutions, announced the close of its $106 million Series D funding round. The investment was led by 67 Capital and Marunouchi Innovation Partners, with participation from existing investors Hamilton Lane, ClearSky, GMS, and strategic partner Sercomm.

The round comes amid rising adoption of AI-enabled systems by utilities, police departments, and municipalities aiming to strengthen grid resilience, lower energy costs, and enhance safety and security. The funds will accelerate AI development and expand direct sales initiatives both in the U.S. and internationally.

Ubicquia’s platforms process billions of data sets daily, providing real-time insights into power quality, lighting performance, and operational reliability. The company’s UbiVu platform consolidates diagnostics, reports, and real-time data across intelligent lighting and grid infrastructure onto a single interface.

With over 1,000 customers, including major cities and utilities, Ubicquia is rapidly scaling its presence across commercial and industrial sectors, serving retailers, healthcare networks, universities, and enterprise campuses. Its infrastructure-as-a-service model pairs AI analytics with robust service offerings, enabling predictable recurring revenue. The company currently supports customers across the U.S., Latin America, Europe, and MENA and is actively expanding globally.

Ubicquia has recently enhanced its intelligent streetlighting ecosystem with products such as the UbiCell Micro universal streetlight controller, UbiVu AI-powered asset visibility, and UbiScout, a smart camera accessory providing adaptive lighting, traffic intelligence, and curb analytics. Its Power Monitoring service delivers transformer-level visibility into power reliability via the UbiGrid DTM+ hardware and UbiVu platform, enabling utilities and commercial customers to detect anomalies, diagnose disturbances, and take actionable steps to improve grid performance.

The company is also developing a connected public safety ecosystem through its UbiHub edge processing platform, offering advanced license plate recognition, livestreaming, and vehicle intelligence using existing streetlight infrastructure. This approach enhances situational awareness and serves as a force multiplier for resource-constrained law enforcement departments.

Ubicquia’s platforms are compatible with over 450 million streetlights, 500 million transformers, and 1 billion utility poles worldwide, and are deployed across more than 1,000 utilities and municipalities globally.
