UBS AG has acquired an approximately 4.8% equity stake in 360 ONE WAM Ltd., one of India’s largest independent wealth and asset management firms, following the exercise of all warrants previously allotted to the Swiss banking group.
UBS exercised 20,502,939 warrants, resulting in the issuance of the same number of equity shares in 360 ONE. The transaction represents another milestone in the strategic relationship between UBS and the Mumbai-based wealth and asset manager.
UBS originally subscribed to the 20,502,939 warrants on a preferential basis under an agreement with 360 ONE. The warrants were allotted on July 21, 2025, with UBS paying 25% of the exercise price at the time of the initial allotment.
UBS has now exercised all of the warrants and paid the remaining 75% of the exercise price, completing the conversion into equity shares.
The investment gives UBS a direct minority ownership position in 360 ONE while deepening the institutions’ broader strategic collaboration in India’s expanding wealth management market.
360 ONE operates across wealth management and asset management and serves high-net-worth and institutional clients. The UBS investment aligns the global bank more closely with an established independent platform in India at a time when the country’s wealth management industry is expanding alongside rising household wealth, business ownership, and demand for sophisticated investment services.
For UBS, the transaction also builds on its broader strategy of growing its wealth management capabilities across major international markets. The Zurich-headquartered company operates in more than 50 markets and provides wealth management, asset management, investment banking, and banking services.
As of the second quarter of 2026, UBS managed approximately $7.3 trillion in invested assets globally.
The warrant exercise does not represent a new issuance agreement but rather the completion of an investment arrangement initiated in 2025. With all of the allotted warrants now exercised, UBS holds approximately 4.8% of 360 ONE’s outstanding equity.
The transaction further connects one of the world’s largest wealth management organizations with one of India’s prominent independent wealth and asset management platforms, creating a foundation for continued collaboration between the two institutions.
