UCB Raises 2026 Revenue Growth Guidance To Low 20% Range And Adjusted EBITDA Growth Outlook To Low-To-Mid 40% Range

UCB, a Belgium-based global biopharmaceutical company, has raised its full-year 2026 financial guidance following stronger-than-expected commercial performance from BIMZELX and CIMZIA. The company now expects revenue growth in the low-20% range at constant exchange rates, compared with its previous outlook for growth in the low-to-mid-teens.

UCB also substantially increased its adjusted EBITDA growth forecast, now anticipating growth in the low-to-mid-40% range at constant exchange rates. The previous guidance called for adjusted EBITDA growth ranging from the mid-teens to low-20% range.

The revised outlook reflects accelerating commercial momentum, improving profitability, and stronger operating leverage as increased pharmaceutical sales translate into faster earnings growth.

The company attributed much of the improved performance to BIMZELX, its immunology treatment, which continues to gain commercial traction in the United States.

UCB reported robust patient demand across BIMZELX’s approved indications, supported by stronger prescription volumes, faster conversion of eligible patients to treatment, and higher patient retention rates.

The company said these developments reflect focused commercial investments, expanded patient access, the product’s differentiated clinical profile, and encouraging data from its BE BOLD clinical program.

Those factors have contributed to market share gains and increased demand for BIMZELX across the treatment categories it serves.

In addition to stronger patient volumes, UCB reported more favorable net pricing dynamics for BIMZELX in the United States.

The improvement reflects a more advantageous distribution and reimbursement channel mix, increasing the average net revenue generated per patient.

The combination of higher treatment volumes and improved net pricing has strengthened the product’s revenue contribution and become a central factor behind UCB’s updated financial expectations.

CIMZIA, another important product in UCB’s immunology portfolio, has also continued generating solid commercial performance.

The company reported sustained volume growth across markets despite contraction in the broader anti-TNF treatment market.

UCB also cited more moderate effects from the U.S. 340B Drug Pricing Program, supported by improved claims diligence and the impact of a recent Orphan Drug Designation.

The stronger commercial performance of BIMZELX and CIMZIA is expected to support substantial margin expansion as UCB benefits from operating leverage across its pharmaceutical business.

Higher revenue growth allows the company to spread operating expenses across a larger sales base, supporting increased adjusted EBITDA while maintaining investments in research, development, and commercialization.

The guidance upgrade represents further progress toward UCB’s long-term growth objectives, which emphasize differentiated medicines for patients with severe immune system and central nervous system diseases.

UCB noted that its updated guidance excludes proceeds from the sale of a Priority Review Voucher.

Those proceeds are expected to provide an additional low-to-mid-single-digit percentage-point uplift to both revenue growth and adjusted EBITDA growth, respectively, beyond the revised guidance.

The company plans to publish its full-year 2026 financial results and formal guidance for 2027 on February 25, 2027.

UCB operates in approximately 40 countries and employs more than 9,000 people worldwide. The company generated revenue of approximately €7.7 billion in 2025 and focuses on developing treatments for serious neurological and immunological conditions.

The latest outlook upgrade underscores the importance of BIMZELX’s U.S. commercial expansion and CIMZIA’s continued market performance to UCB’s earnings trajectory.

With improving patient demand, stronger pricing dynamics, and increased operating leverage, UCB expects its commercial momentum to support faster revenue and profitability growth throughout the remainder of 2026.
