uiAgent, a company specializing in AI-powered automation for accounting firms, has secured $4.6 million in seed funding. The funding round was led by Marathon Management Partners, with additional investment from Rerail.
The uiAgent platform is designed for the needs of accounting firms, offering a complete automation solution that can be implemented in just days rather than months. It works with both cloud-based and on-premise systems, giving firms flexibility in how they deploy it. A key feature of the platform is its extensive library of AI agents, which are pre-built to handle essential workflows in areas such as auditing and client accounting services.
The technology is already in use by some of the largest and most innovative accounting firms in the world, including many of the top 100 firms in the United States. Clients have reported significant improvements in efficiency, including an 80 percent reduction in manual data entry, a 35 percent faster completion time for Employee Benefit Plan audits, and full automation of journal entry creation.
With this new funding, uiAgent plans to expand its capabilities and reach, helping more firms streamline their operations, reduce repetitive work, and focus on higher-value tasks through advanced AI-driven solutions.
How the funding will be used: The new funding will be used to accelerate the development and deployment of UIAgent’s automation agents across more top accounting firms and large enterprises.
New board member: In connection with the funding, Chase Packard, a founding partner at Marathon, will join uiAgent’s board of directors, bringing his expertise to help guide the company’s next stage of growth.
