United Felts, a manufacturer of cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) liners and a subsidiary of Vortex Companies, announced the acquisition of BKP Berolina Polyester, a Germany-based provider of advanced composite and UV CIPP liner technology.
The transaction strengthens United Felts’ global manufacturing platform and enhances its position as a provider of both traditional felt CIPP liners and advanced composite UV liner systems. BKP, headquartered in Velten, Germany, is recognized for its Berolina-Liner System and its expertise in high-performance liner solutions for regulated infrastructure markets.
The acquisition brings together complementary capabilities, combining United Felts’ large-scale manufacturing and distribution with BKP’s advanced UV curing and composite liner technologies. The integration is expected to expand product offerings and improve service for customers in the global trenchless infrastructure and pipeline rehabilitation market.
BKP has a long-standing history of innovation in UV CIPP liner development and has been serving infrastructure markets for decades. Its addition enables United Felts to broaden its technical capabilities and deliver a more comprehensive portfolio of solutions across a wider range of rehabilitation applications.
