By Amit Chowdhry ● Nov 4, 2025

UPS has finalized its $1.6 billion acquisition of Andlauer Healthcare Group Inc. (AHG), a Canadian-based supply chain management company specializing in healthcare logistics and cold chain transportation. The transaction, valued at CAD $2.2 billion, provides AHG shareholders C$55 per share in cash.

The acquisition enhances UPS Healthcare’s ability to deliver complex logistics solutions for the global healthcare sector, strengthening its presence across North America and expanding its specialized cold chain capabilities. By integrating AHG’s expertise, UPS aims to reduce transit times, increase end-to-end visibility, and enhance quality assurance for temperature-sensitive healthcare products.

AHG’s operations will continue under the leadership of founder and CEO Michael Andlauer, who will now head UPS Canada Healthcare and AHG. His appointment reflects UPS’s strategy to strengthen its healthcare logistics platform with experienced leadership and operational excellence.

With this addition, UPS Healthcare customers will gain access to a broader network of services focused on patient-centered delivery and precision logistics. The company said the acquisition positions it to support better the growing demand for high-value, temperature-controlled treatments and biologics globally.

UPS, which generated $91.1 billion in revenue in 2024, continues to execute its strategy of “Customer First. People Led. Innovation Driven.” With approximately 490,000 employees serving more than 200 countries and territories, the company remains committed to advancing sustainable logistics and supporting global communities through innovation and efficiency.
