V2X Systems Awarded $104.6 Million Army Communications Contract Modification

V2X Systems has been awarded a $104.6 million contract modification by the U.S. Army for the operation, maintenance, and defense of communications systems supporting Army operational bases across the Middle East.

The modification, identified as P00080, applies to contract W91RUS-21-C-0001 and increases the contract’s total cumulative face value to approximately $813.1 million.

Under the contract, V2X will support Army operational base communications information systems and related infrastructure.

The work is intended to help maintain reliable and secure communications capabilities supporting Army operations in Kuwait, Jordan, Bahrain, and Qatar.

The modification extends V2X’s role in managing communications infrastructure that supports deployed Army personnel and mission operations across the region.

Services covered by the award include ongoing operations, maintenance, and defensive support for communications systems and infrastructure used at Army operational bases.

The work is expected to continue through October 31, 2028.

At the time of the award, the Army obligated approximately $16.2 million in fiscal 2027 operations and maintenance funding.

Additional funding may be obligated over the course of the contract as requirements develop.

The award was made through Army Contracting Command at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland.

V2X provides mission support, information technology, logistics, training, infrastructure, and other services to U.S. government and defense customers.

The company supports operations across a range of environments where communications availability and infrastructure resilience are critical to mission readiness.

The latest modification further expands the value of V2X’s existing Army communications contract and provides additional funding for continued work across several strategically important locations in the Middle East.

Because the award is structured as a modification to an existing contract rather than a new standalone agreement, the $104.6 million represents additional potential value added to the broader program.

With the modification, the overall contract has now reached more than $813 million in cumulative face value, reflecting the scale of the Army’s ongoing requirement for communications operations, maintenance, and infrastructure defense across its regional bases.
