Vaudit, formerly BlokID, has closed a $7.3 million seed financing round led by Mucker Capital, with contributions from AVV, AppWorks, Plug and Play, and Kyber Knight. Notable investors include Omar Hamoui, founder of AdMob, and Binh Tran, co-founder of Klout. Including a pre-seed raise of $1.25 million, Vaudit has raised a total of $8.5 million.
Vaudit is a real-time AI audit engine that monitors advertising campaigns, identifies billing discrepancies, and helps businesses recover wasted ad spend. With over 1,000 customers globally, the company has audited more than 558 million ad events and uncovered monthly overcharges of up to 30% for some clients.
The company has rebranded to reflect its mission of providing institutional-grade auditing capabilities to all businesses. Vaudit reconciles reported ad spend with actual bills from platforms such as Google and Meta, delivering structured reports that enable teams to dispute irregularities and recover funds.
Piotr Korzeniowski has been appointed as the new Chief Operating Officer, with a focus on product development and scaling operations. With this funding, Vaudit will enhance its AI models for better anomaly detection and expand its coverage to include more digital advertising channels, such as TikTok and Amazon.
KEY QUOTES:
“We’re excited to partner with adtech veterans like Omar and Binh to pioneer a new standard in digital advertising accountability. The online advertising industry has normalized waste and fraud for far too long, with clicks that don’t track, campaigns that overspend, and billing that goes unverified.”
Michael Hahn, Founder and CEO of Vaudit
“Vaudit is solving a huge problem that sits quietly in nearly every marketing budget. Digital advertising has become too complex and too opaque. Mike and the Vaudit team are building a category-defining tool that will bring much-needed clarity and financial discipline to a space long overdue for accountability.”
Omar Hamoui, Partner at Mucker Capital
“While fraud prevention in adtech is an established category, no one has truly looked at the bill—scrutinizing whether platforms actually deliver on what they were set up to do. Vaudit addresses that blind spot. I’m excited to help shape the product and scale the business on the solid foundation Mike and the team have built.”
Piotr Korzeniowski
“Anyone spending money on digital ads deserves full visibility into where their dollars go and the power to hold platforms accountable when they’re charged for AI traffic instead of real people. Vaudit isn’t just innovating in adtech, it’s defining a new category: audit intelligence. By bringing financial accountability to media buying, Vaudit delivers the missing trust layer for today’s opaque digital ad ecosystem.”
Binh Tran, General Partner at AVV
