VECKTA Raises $11 Million Series A For Onsite Solar And Storage Platform

VECKTA has raised an oversubscribed $11 million Series A led by Origin Ventures to expand its planning and procurement platform for onsite solar, battery storage, and other distributed energy technologies.

The profitable company plans to expand its U.S. customer team, product capabilities, partnerships, and supplier network as businesses look for ways to control electricity costs and improve energy reliability. Customers include Enterprise Mobility, Lithia & Driveway, Phillips Edison & Co., and Regency Centers.

VECKTA’s platform uses more than 5,000 data points to analyze a property address and produce a business case and recommended solar and storage configuration in under a minute. Customers can then use its marketplace to request comparable proposals from prequalified suppliers.

The company said an analysis of approximately 34,000 customer sites found that 37% could support solar or battery storage with positive returns today, representing $3.1 billion in project value. VECKTA expects that opportunity to grow to $12 billion within five years, with $52 billion in potential utility savings as solar and storage economics improve.

VECKTA customers have contracted for onsite energy systems at 128 sites in 2026 and, according to the company, paid 20% to 45% less than bids they sourced independently. Its fastest project moved from initial assessment to signed contract in nine weeks, compared with what the company described as a typical 12- to 18-month process.

The financing also included Tech Square Ventures, VoLo Earth Ventures, Cove Fund, Catalyst by Wellstar, Engage, Emerald Bay Ventures, She’s Independent Investments, and Mobilize AI x Energy Ventures. VECKTA plans to expand a supplier network already consisting of more than 3,000 vetted providers.

KEY QUOTES:

“The most dangerous decision a business can make about its energy is acceptance of the status quo. Rates will continue to rise and the grid will continue to be constrained, making the imperative for businesses to find profitable solutions more acute. VECKTA provides the de-risked, data-driven and scalable process for deploying onsite energy systems necessary for the realities of this dynamic and complex market.”

Gareth Evans, CEO And Co-Founder Of VECKTA

“Onsite energy has become a capital allocation decision for large companies, and the market hasn’t given them the information to make it with confidence. VECKTA built its business on the buyer’s side — helping companies know what to build, where, and what it should cost before they go to market. That’s where we think the real value gets created.”
