Vector Building Products has acquired Prestige Distribution, a Northbrook, Illinois-based distributor of Division 10 and commercial specialty building products, as it continues building a national specialty building products platform.
Prestige, founded in 2004, provides design, distribution, project management, and installation services to customers throughout the U.S. The company is headquartered near Chicago and also operates in Dallas.
The acquisition expands Vector’s geographic footprint and product capabilities while advancing its strategy of partnering with established Division 10 distributors. Vector sees Prestige’s technical expertise, customer relationships, and market position as complementary to its existing platform.
As part of the transaction, Prestige co-owner Adi Klinghofer will become Chief Operating Officer of Vector Building Products.
Vector was established in 2025 by Centre Lane Partners and launched through an initial partnership with Spectrum Resource. The company provides capital and operational resources to specialty distributors while seeking to preserve their local relationships and entrepreneurial cultures.
With Centre Lane’s backing, Vector intends to continue expanding through partnerships and acquisitions of Division 10 businesses across North America.
