Vema Hydrogen Appoints Stephane Dallaire As CFO And François Marquis As Operations Superintendent

Vema Hydrogen has expanded its Canadian leadership team with the appointments of Stephane Dallaire as Chief Financial Officer and François Marquis as Operations Superintendent as the company advances pilot testing of its hydrogen technology.

Based in Quebec, Dallaire will oversee Vema’s global financial operations, capital strategy and fundraising initiatives as the company works toward commercializing and deploying its Engineered Mineral Hydrogen technology internationally.

Dallaire has more than 25 years of experience in corporate finance, capital markets, private equity, M&A and strategic transactions, with a focus on renewable energy and technology.

Most recently, he led the public listing of Canadian clean hydrogen producer CHARBONE Hydrogen. He previously held senior positions at Keira Capital Partners and Fidenti Global Partners.

Marquis will focus on Vema’s field operations and pilot-scale hydrogen development program in Quebec.

The appointments come as Vema expands its relationships in Canada’s hydrogen sector. The company has signed memoranda of understanding with sustainable aviation fuel developer SAF+ International Group and CHARBONE Hydrogen and has joined Hydrogène Québec.

Vema’s technology is designed to produce low-carbon hydrogen through engineered mineral processes, and the company sees Canada as an important market for the commercialization and deployment of the platform.

KEY QUOTES:
