Verda announced that it has raised $117 million in combined equity and debt financing to accelerate product development and expand its AI cloud infrastructure platform across global markets. The round includes equity funding led by Lifeline Ventures, with participation from byFounders, Tesi, Varma, and other investors, alongside debt financing from a group of Nordic financial institutions.

The funding will support expansion into new regions, including the United Kingdom and the United States, as well as continued investment in engineering, AI research, and go-to-market teams.

Verda is focused on building a vertically integrated AI cloud platform designed for the next phase of compute consumption, where infrastructure provisioning becomes instant and increasingly driven by autonomous AI agents. The company’s platform offers on-demand access to GPUs, self-service clusters, serverless containers, and managed inference endpoints, eliminating traditional procurement processes such as long sales cycles and fixed contracts.

The company is positioning itself around a shift toward “agentic buying,” where AI systems autonomously select and provision compute resources based on workload requirements. In this model, cloud infrastructure is consumed dynamically through on-demand platforms rather than negotiated enterprise agreements.

Verda operates a renewable energy-powered infrastructure stack and has built its platform in Europe while targeting global customers. The company reports that it is already cash flow positive, with a revenue run rate exceeding $60 million in the first quarter of 2026, reflecting rapid growth in demand for AI compute capacity.

As part of its expansion strategy, Verda plans to hire more than 100 employees across engineering, AI development, and commercial functions. The company is also working with enterprise and technology customers including 1X, Nokia, ExpressVPN, and Freepik, and is part of a select group of NVIDIA Preferred Partners globally.

The funding comes amid surging demand for AI infrastructure, as enterprises and startups alike seek scalable, flexible compute solutions to support machine learning workloads. Verda is positioning its platform as an alternative to traditional hyperscale cloud providers, emphasizing transparency, flexibility, and real-time provisioning.
