Verdantas has acquired PACE Engineers, a multidisciplinary engineering, surveying, and environmental consulting firm with operations in Washington and Oregon, as it looks to expand both its service capabilities and its footprint in the Pacific Northwest. Financial terms were not disclosed.

PACE, headquartered in Kirkland, Washington, provides civil and structural engineering, land surveying, planning, landscape architecture, and environmental consulting services. The firm works with public- and private-sector clients and is known for projects spanning municipal infrastructure, land development, water resources, and environmental engineering.

Verdantas said the transaction supports its strategy to broaden multidisciplinary offerings and enhance local market expertise in the Pacific Northwest, while continuing to deliver sustainable solutions across a growing client base. PACE leadership said the combination will provide additional resources and development opportunities for staff, while Sterling Investment Partners—Verdantas’ private equity backer—described the deal as a key step in the company’s regional expansion.
