Veridion has raised $20 million in Series A funding to expand its AI-powered live business graph, which provides a continuously updated view of more than 640 million companies worldwide. The round was led by Hoxton Ventures, with participation from existing investors Underline Ventures, OTB Ventures, Gapminder, Day One Capital, and Launchub.
Veridion analyzes billions of digital signals from company websites, regulatory filings, public registries, product catalogs, social profiles and news sources to maintain a real-time picture of businesses and their activities. The company said its intelligence can be delivered up to 52 times faster than traditional sources and covers more than 30 times as many businesses.
The platform is used across market intelligence, insurance, third-party risk, ESG, procurement and supply chain operations. More than 100 organizations use Veridion’s technology, and companies relying on its data represent nearly $2 trillion in combined market capitalization. Experian is among its partners.
Veridion is particularly focused on situations where rapidly changing business conditions make traditional databases outdated. During disruption around the Strait of Hormuz, customers used the platform to identify affected businesses and supply chain relationships within hours rather than waiting for slower data sources to update.
The company will use the Series A to accelerate product development, significantly expand its U.S. team and deepen relationships with American institutions. More than 70% of Veridion’s revenue already comes from U.S. customers, and the company plans to double its U.S. headcount.
KEY QUOTES:
“A lot of market intelligence still arrives like a fax. Veridion runs at 5G speed — a live feed, not a monthly or yearly printout and up to 52 times faster than traditional sources. Static business intelligence is no longer fit for an unstable world.”
Stefan Gergely, Head of Growth at Veridion
“We invested in Veridion because they are fundamentally changing how business intelligence is built. While others rely on static databases that are updated periodically, Veridion delivers business information at a speed the market hasn’t seen before.”
Hussein Kanji, Founder of Hoxton Ventures
“This funding lets us accelerate product development, grow our U.S. team significantly, and deepen relationships with the American institutions that depend on us for a real-time view of the business world.”
