Verisma Secures Senior-Secured Financing From Golub Capital To Support Growth And M&A

Verisma has closed new senior-secured financing from Golub Capital to support continued investment in its health information lifecycle management platform and pursue strategic acquisitions. The financing includes a delayed draw term loan facility and is intended to provide additional capital for both organic growth initiatives and M&A.

Verisma is backed by NewSpring Capital and provides health information lifecycle management technology and services to healthcare organizations across the U.S.

The company serves more than 20,000 clients across all 50 states and focuses on health data integrity, management, exchange, archiving, release of information, care coordination, and value-based care.

Verisma said the role of health information management has expanded beyond traditional administrative functions and increasingly affects areas such as care continuity, care gap closure, quality performance, and reimbursement optimization.

The company has introduced several new technologies during 2026 as part of its broader growth strategy.

Inbound Document Intelligence is designed to help healthcare organizations extract outcomes data from incoming documents to support quality reporting and reimbursement.

Archiving Chart Search allows clinical and health information management users to locate information across archived patient records spanning multiple systems and categories.

Verisma was also named the top vendor for release of information and health information lifecycle management for the eighth consecutive year by Black Book Research.

The Golub Capital financing gives Verisma additional flexibility to invest in technology while evaluating acquisition opportunities that could expand its capabilities and market footprint.

Golub Capital specializes in direct lending and private credit solutions, particularly for companies backed by private equity sponsors.

As of October 1, 2026, Golub Capital reported more than $95 billion of capital under management and over 1,100 employees across North America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.

Verisma plans to use the financing to reinforce its position in healthcare data management while continuing to develop technology that helps providers access and use patient information more efficiently.
