VERO Secures New Funding From Sunriver Capital As 1,390-Property Platform Targets Profitability By Year-End

VERO has secured a new financing round from existing investors led by Sunriver Capital as the multifamily risk and leasing technology company targets profitability by the end of 2026. The amount of the financing was not disclosed. Existing investors funded the round entirely, giving VERO additional capital without bringing in a new investor group.

VERO said the financing fully funds its current plan through profitability.

The company’s platform now supports leasing decisions across 1,390 multifamily properties in 40 states.

VERO said it has averaged growth of more than 50% since 2023.

Its platform combines applicant screening, risk analysis and protection services for multifamily owners and operators.

Capabilities include identity verification, income verification, credit and criminal checks, document fraud detection and AI-powered decision support.

VERO operates those functions through a SOC 2-compliant workflow that integrates with property management platforms including Yardi, Entrata, RealPage and Rent Manager.

Sunriver Capital is a Dallas-based growth equity firm focused on fintech and real estate technology.

The decision by existing investors to provide additional capital reflects their continued backing of VERO as it attempts to translate its recent growth into profitability.
