Versapay introduced Versapay Intelligence, an expanded AI layer that operates across its invoice-to-cash platform. The new capabilities extend Versapay’s existing AI use beyond cash application to invoicing, collections, payments, and ERP connectivity.
Versapay has used artificial intelligence and machine learning for years to support remittance matching and risk segmentation.
The company is now consolidating those capabilities into a broader intelligence layer spanning multiple parts of the accounts receivable workflow.
Three Versapay Intelligence capabilities are currently live.
Versapay Assistant can answer questions about which invoices require attention.
Real-time sentiment scoring is designed to identify customer conversations that may represent increased payment risk.
AI-generated customer summaries provide information including payment history, overdue balances, credits, and the oldest outstanding invoice.
Versapay is also beta testing AI-augmented Cash Application, which reads remittance information from PDFs, spreadsheets, and scanned documents and matches it against open invoices.
The company has designed its AI roadmap around four levels of automation: Augment, Assist, Action, and Autonomous.
Versapay is also embedding these capabilities into ERP and finance platforms including NetSuite, Sage Intacct, and Microsoft Dynamics.
