Versapay Names Emily Roccheggiani As Chief Sales Officer

By Amit Chowdhry ● Jan 27, 2026

Versapay, an accounts receivable (AR) platform focused on simplifying B2B payments collection and reconciliation, has named payments industry veteran Emily Roccheggiani as its Chief Sales Officer. In the role, Roccheggiani will lead the company’s sales organization and commercial growth strategy as Versapay looks to expand within core verticals, deepen strategic partnerships, and scale its go-to-market engine for modern B2B commerce.

Roccheggiani joins Versapay with a background in fintech and payments sales leadership, including more than eight years at Adyen. Versapay said she joined Adyen as the sixth member of the North American sales team during a period of global expansion, helping build the region’s commercial organization and supporting growth across multiple industries. After Adyen, she served as Chief Revenue Officer at Forma, where she built and led go-to-market teams in the employee benefits market.

At Versapay, her remit includes driving the next stage of growth, expanding the company’s footprint in key verticals, strengthening partner-led distribution, and building a high-performance sales organization aimed at increasing adoption among mid-market and enterprise customers. The company framed the hire as aligned with broader market shifts toward real-time payments, automation, and embedded finance in business workflows, particularly as finance teams look for tighter integration between receivables, reconciliation, and cash flow visibility.

Versapay describes its platform as an end-to-end AR system designed to reduce friction in collecting and reconciling B2B payments while providing cash flow clarity and working capital control. The company said it serves 10,000 customers, supports transactions involving more than 5 million companies, has facilitated more than 110 million transactions, and processes more than $260 billion in annual payment volume.

Roccheggiani’s appointment arrives as AR modernization remains a priority for businesses seeking faster cash conversion, improved payment experiences, and more automated back-office processes. Versapay positioned the leadership addition as a step toward scaling commercial execution alongside product innovation, partnership expansion, and vertical market focus.
