Versework Raises $2.7 Million And Joins Roblox Incubator

Versework announced that it has been selected for the official Roblox Incubator 2026 and has raised $2.7 million from Altos Ventures. The investment brings Versework’s total funding to about $7.5 million. Versework is a South Korea-based Roblox user-generated content game developer and accelerator.

The company said it is the first Asian studio selected for the Roblox Incubator, a program run by Roblox headquarters that provides business development, technical, and publishing support to selected developers.

Versework entered the program with its upcoming CookieRun: Braverse TCG Roblox project.

The company’s CEO, Young-Gun Yoon, was also selected for the Asan Voyager program and is currently in San Francisco for collaborative meetings with Roblox leadership.

Altos Ventures made the $2.7 million investment as the sole investor in the round. Altos was also an early investor in Roblox.

Versework said the backing reflects its potential to become a leading Asian player in the global user-generated content gaming market.

The company’s flagship Roblox title, Sols RNG, has surpassed 2 billion cumulative plays and ranks among Roblox’s global top 10 to 20 titles.

Versework said Sols RNG has achieved the highest traffic volume of any Roblox title developed by a Korean studio.

The company is also expanding its portfolio with two upcoming projects: a Roblox adaptation of CookieRun: Braverse TCG and a collaborative project with GH’s, a gaming animation creator with 27 million global subscribers.

Versework generated about $7.3 million in revenue in 2025 while achieving positive operating income.

The company expects revenue acceleration in the second half of 2026, supported in part by Roblox’s 42% DevEx rate increase for age-verified U.S. creators over 18, which took effect on June 8.

Beyond internal game development, Versework also operates as an accelerator for user-generated content creators across Asia.

Through its proprietary incubator track, the company provides emerging developers with design mentorship, global publishing infrastructure, and residential support near its headquarters.

Versework said its goal is to establish user-generated game creation as a viable, high-growth career path in Asia and help regional developers compete globally.
