Vertiv announced the appointment of Frieda He as Chief Procurement Officer, effective May 5, 2026. In the role, He will lead Vertiv’s global procurement organization with responsibility for strengthening supply chain resilience, supporting company growth initiatives, optimizing procurement operations, and improving supplier quality across Vertiv’s portfolio of power and thermal management solutions.
Vertiv provides infrastructure solutions for data centers, communications networks, and commercial and industrial applications, including technologies supporting AI-driven and high-density computing environments.
He brings nearly two decades of procurement and supply chain leadership experience across the automotive and electrification industries.
Most recently, He served as Chief Procurement Officer and member of the Group Management Team at Polestar from December 2023 through March 2026. In that role, she oversaw more than $3 billion in annual global procurement spend across direct and indirect materials, supplier quality, industrial programs, and global real estate operations.
Prior to Polestar, He held multiple senior procurement leadership positions at Volvo Cars, including Vice President and Head of Global Propulsion & Sustainability Procurement, where she managed more than $9 billion in annual spend and supported the company’s electrification initiatives.
Vertiv said He’s experience includes managing global supply chain disruptions, supplier development, sustainability compliance, cost engineering, and operational transformation initiatives across multinational procurement environments.
